Build Plans for My Mustang GT's Suspension
With 160,000 My Mustangs bushings in the front end are starting to feel their age. I am going to be replacing anything that is rubber on the car with polyurethane replacements from Energy Suspension. I am also thinking about replacing the stock K member with a tubular K member, to give the headers with the 4v conversion some more room. I am also thinking about going to 3.73 gears in the rear.
Another thing I will be replacing is my stock lower control arms. Fords stock stamped LCA's aren't any good at putting down anything more then 300 horsepower, and I plan to be making much more, those coupled with some Nitto 555s (255/45/17 in the front and 295/45/17 in the rear) should really help traction.
